Kristina McMorris is an American author of several New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling books. Her works of fiction include two novellas and seven historical novels, most notably the million-copy bestseller Sold on a Monday. McMorris's debut novel, Letters from Home, was originally inspired by her grandparents' WWII courtship letters.  Kristina's novels have garnered more than two dozen prestigious awards and nominations, most notably the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, RWA's RITA® Award, and a Goodreads Choice Award for Best Historical Fiction.

Her latest novel, The Girls of Good Fortune, is declared a must read by USA Today, New York Times, The Washington Post, and Book Riot.  Other special honors include Indie Next Pick June 2025, ,Booklist Starred Review, SheReads Best Books of May 2025, & BookBub's Best Historical Fiction of 2025.
